As a Business Development & Finance Support Intern, you will contribute to the company’s growth by supporting partnership development, market expansion and basic financial operations — a strong combination of commercial exposure and financial insight within the tourism industry.
What you'll actually do
- Identify and approach potential partners (travel agencies, schools, hotels, corporates)
- Conduct market research on new opportunities and customer segments
- Support outreach campaigns and follow-ups with prospects
- Assist with basic financial tracking (expenses, revenues, bookings)
- Revenue reconciliation and allocation, bookkeeping
- Occasionally join client excursions to experience first-hand what the agency sells
What we're looking for
- Studying or recently graduated in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Strong interest in business development and commercial strategy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Passion for travel and East African destinations
